Nature of our service

Holland Dumpster Co provides temporary roll-off dumpster rentals in Holland, MI and West Michigan for residential, commercial and construction projects, including delivery, placement, pickup and the disposal of approved non-hazardous materials, together with junk removal. Depending on availability, project scope and location, we may fulfill the rental directly or connect you with a qualified, licensed and insured local dumpster rental provider (a "Service Provider") able to complete the request. When you request a quote or call our number, your details may be shared with one or more Service Providers. We do not operate disposal facilities. Each Service Provider operates independently and is solely responsible for its own pricing, services and performance, including scheduling, delivery and pickup, waste disposal, licensing, permits and insurance. All rentals are subject to availability and to the city, village, township, county and state rules that apply at the delivery address.

Acceptance of terms

By using this website or contacting us by phone, email, message or online form, you confirm that you are over 18 years of age, that you have authority to request dumpster rental for the property involved, and that you agree to these terms. You agree to use the website lawfully, not to send unlawful or misleading content, not to attempt unauthorized access to our systems, and not to disrupt the website. If you do not agree, please stop using our website and services.

No guarantee of service

We work to provide dependable dumpster rental and to connect you with reputable providers. We do not promise the availability, pricing or completion of any service at all times or in all locations. Delivery times are estimates, and weather, traffic, road restrictions, facility restrictions or local rules may affect scheduling. Same-day and next-day delivery depend on availability, and where a town restricts who may haul refuse or requires a permit, a booking depends on that town's requirements. Where a Service Provider handles your rental, the work is performed by that provider, and we are not responsible for scheduling, delivery, damages or disputes that arise from its services.

Information collection and sharing

When you submit a form, call our number or request a quote, we collect your name, phone number, email address, project details and location. You agree to provide accurate information. It is shared only with those who need it to fulfill your request, such as a payment processor or a relevant Service Provider. The Privacy Policy explains more.

Booking, payments and pricing

Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and depend on the dumpster size, the type and weight of the debris, the delivery location, the rental length and any additional pickups or swap-outs. Our flat-rate pricing can include delivery, pickup and disposal within the included weight allowance. If a load goes over that allowance, the container may be weighed and an overage fee applies. Keeping the container past the rental period carries a daily or weekly fee. We explain pricing in advance. We accept major credit and debit cards, and payment is typically collected when your booking is confirmed to secure your delivery date. Holland Dumpster Co handles pricing only for services we provide directly. Where a Service Provider handles the rental, payment is made directly between you and that provider, and quotes, estimates, billing errors, refunds, extensions, overage charges, delays, cancellations and disputes are between you and that provider.

Rental periods and extensions

The standard rental period is 7 days unless otherwise agreed at booking, and your quote states the period. Extensions are often available on request for a daily or weekly fee. Call or message us when you finish so we can arrange pickup.

Use of the container

You agree to use the dumpster safely and lawfully. You are responsible for a safe, accessible placement area on flat, solid ground, with about 60 feet of clear approach for the truck and about 25 feet of clearance overhead; for keeping all debris below the top edge, since an overfilled container may not be legal or safe to haul; for keeping clear access for pickup; and for keeping prohibited materials out. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, paint, solvents, oils and other liquids; fuel; hazardous chemicals; tires; batteries; gas cylinders, propane tanks and other pressurized tanks; medical waste; asbestos; flammable or toxic waste; and fridges, freezers and A/C units that still hold refrigerant. Michigan law bans certain items from landfills, including used oil, lead-acid batteries and more than a de minimis amount of whole tires or yard waste (MCL 324.11514). Improper use may result in additional disposal fees or termination of service.

Property and placement

We take precautions to help protect your property during placement, and protective boards can go under the container on request. You may also place plywood or boards under the contact points. Unless protective measures were requested before delivery, you accept responsibility for damage to driveways, lawns, curbs or paved surfaces. Do not move the container after placement. Contact us if it needs relocating.

Permits and local compliance

Local rules differ from town to town. The City of Holland applies a refuse collector licence to haulers, and in several other towns the hauler licence, the placement rules or a contract that ties household trash to one contractor apply. In those places we check the local requirements before booking. A container in a public street or right-of-way may need a permit or approval, and MDOT requires a permit for any non-travel use of state highway right-of-way, so we keep containers out of it. If your dumpster will be placed on a street or other public property, or your town requires a permit for it, you are responsible for securing any required permit and for following any neighborhood association rules. We can offer general guidance, but final responsibility for compliance at your property remains with the customer.

Service provider responsibility

When a Service Provider is involved, it operates as an independent business and is responsible for obtaining proper licences, insurance and permits; complying with local, state and federal laws; safe and lawful disposal of waste; and damage prevention during delivery and pickup. Holland Dumpster Co does not supervise, manage or control independent providers and is not liable for their conduct or performance.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Holland Dumpster Co, its owners, partners and affiliates are not liable for any injury, property damage or loss arising from services provided by third parties; for delays, cancellations or failure to perform by any referred provider; for improper loading or use of a container or failure to obtain a required permit; or for errors or omissions in the content of this website. Our total liability does not exceed the amount paid for the specific rental service giving rise to the claim.
