Where we deliver in West Michigan

We run roll-off containers out of 215 Charles Dr in Holland to every community below. Distance is the first thing that changes. Approx. road miles from the yard: Zeeland approx. 4, West Olive approx. 10, Hamilton approx. 11, Saugatuck approx. 13, Douglas and Hudsonville approx. 14, Jenison approx. 18, Grand Haven approx. 20, Grandville and Ferrysburg approx. 21, Spring Lake approx. 22, Fennville approx. 23, Allegan approx. 25 and Coopersville approx. 26 road miles. Same-day or next-day is available when availability allows, and timing decides the rest. Neighborhoods and townships without their own page are often inside our run too.

The second thing that changes is the rules. In the City of Holland a refuse collector licence applies, and we check the City's rules before booking. The Village of Spring Lake and the City of Grandville have hauler licences. The City of Allegan restricts placement in its right-of-way, the Cities of Saugatuck and Douglas both restrict containers in streets and rights-of-way, and Fennville's code sets its own rules for receptacles. We check each City's rules before booking. State highway right-of-way is off limits without an MDOT permit, so we keep containers out of it. We are licensed & insured. Each city page quotes the rule and gives the office to call.

The service area

Every community we cover, grouped by area

The towns sit in Ottawa, Allegan and Kent counties. Each has its own page with its own rules, and every page says what that town requires before a container goes out.

Closest to the yard

Zeeland, Hudsonville, Saugatuck, Douglas, Hamilton and West Olive, approx. 4 to 14 road miles from the yard (approx. 9 to 24 minutes). Douglas and Saugatuck keep containers off public property and rights-of-way, and in Hamilton and West Olive the township's rules apply. We check the local rules before booking. Same-day or next-day when availability allows.

Farther out in Ottawa, Allegan and Kent counties

Jenison, Grandville, Grand Haven, Ferrysburg, Spring Lake, Coopersville, Fennville and Allegan, approx. 18 to 26 road miles from the yard (approx. 28 to 39 minutes). Spring Lake and Grandville have licence rules, Allegan and Fennville restrict placement, and the others we check with the local office before booking. Ottawa County's draft solid waste ordinance isn't confirmed as adopted, and we found no Allegan County hauler or placement ordinance. Same-day or next-day when availability allows.

Service area questions

Not covered here? Call (616) 344-9760 and ask.

Which communities are same-day?

Many of them, depending on where the trucks are and when you call. Before midday gives you the best chance. The closest runs from the yard are Zeeland, approx. 4 road miles, and West Olive, approx. 10. The furthest are Allegan, approx. 25, and Coopersville, approx. 26. Where a town restricts who may haul or wants a permit, we check its rules before booking, which can take longer than a same-day window.

Do you serve places without their own page?

Call and ask. Neighborhoods and townships near each community are often inside our run; they just do not have their own pages. Tell us the address and we tell you which rules apply. The rules follow the city, village or township the property is in, not the mailing address.

Why do city pages mention who may haul?

Because in Michigan, licensing is local. EGLE does not license ordinary solid waste haulers, but some towns do. We state what each town says, and where it restricts hauling we check its rules before booking.

Is the price different by town?

Delivery location is one of the things the price depends on, so the furthest communities can cost a little more. We say so up front.

Where do the loads go?

To approved local disposal and recycling facilities. Whenever possible, materials such as metal, concrete and certain yard waste are separated for recycling. Michigan law says solid waste may go only to a licensed disposal area (MCL 324.11512(2)) and bans certain things from landfills, including more than a de minimis amount of yard waste (MCL 324.11514), so we ask what is going in before we quote.
